Raytheon has contracted with a national employment verification service, The Work Number for Everyone, a service of TALX Corporation. This service provides to verifiers, immediately upon request, employment and salary information through the World Wide Web or through a touch-tone phone.

Employee data is provided for the current year plus two years prior. Data is not provided for employees who have been inactive for more than three years.

Verifying Basic Employment
The verifier must do the following:

1. Go to www.theworknumber.com
2. Dial 1.800.367.5690.
3. Enter the Raytheon Company Code (10722).
4. When prompted, enter the employee's social security number.
5. Follow the prompts to obtain the information.

Verifying Salary
The verifier must do the following:

1. Obtain a Salary Key from the employee.
2. Dial 1.800.367.5690.
3. Enter the Raytheon Company Code (10722).
4. When prompted, enter the employee's social security number.
5. Enter the Salary Key supplied by the employee.
6. Follow the prompts to obtain the information.

Obtaining a Salary Key
The employee must do the following:

1. Go to www.theworknumber.com or dial 1.800.EMP.AUTH (800.367.2884).
2. When prompted for your PIN, use the following:

MMDDSSSS:

MM	=	Employee's two-digit birth month
DD	=	Employee's two-digit birth day
SSSS	=	Last four digits of employee's social security number
